Action, comedy, thriller, mystery, and romance. You may recognize these as genres for movies and the question that has always eluded even the best of analysts. Which movie genre is the most popular? Of course before you can answer with an opinion you need to know what content is included in each of these genres.
- Action- Fast paced and usually full of gunfights, explosions and intense kung-foo fighting
- Comedy- Designed to make you laugh covering all the basic things that are the formula for smiles
- Thriller- Twists at every turn that make your heart skip a few beats and make you want to close your eyes yet you are usually unable to stop watching(weird huh).
- Mystery- The name says it all. There is a a mystery solved. Names like Sherlock and Nancy come to mind
- Romance- Always ending in some mushy, lovey honeymoon or what not. Paris is a popular destination in these and kissing is unavoidable.
Personally, I find comedy and action the most satisfying but there are times when I feel a bit more sensitiveand go for a romantic comedy (it must be comedic so I don’t stray far from my macho ways into being feminine.
