Watching Flightplan with a Sigh of Relief
Movie review of the 2005 block buster “Flightplan”.
I just watched the 2005 blockbuster “Flight Plan” starred by an award-winning actress Jodie Foster. Knowing the background of the cast, I had hoped that after cast of characters and behind the scene details would display on the black screen, I would not sigh out of disappointment.

The story started with a development that left a heavy feeling to me. I thought first of “Ok, fine. What then? Naah… Monotonous… Very typical…” But I was wrong, thank God; my two hour idle time was worth it.
To those who have missed the movie next to me, here is the appetizing clue. In the story, Ms. Pratt (played by Jodie Foster) was a successful engineer. She badly mourned for her dead husband. Her 6-year old daughter was lost while she was on flight to New York. Nobody in the plane believed her. Worse, a proof of record showed that her story was a fiction and part of her imagination. Everybody thought she was mentally ill due to her anxiety.
Near the end of the story, I was blind-sighted. However it was a bright blind-sight, which left me a sigh of relief. I thought it would end like I was expecting. But it did not. It made a twist. Very magnificent twist!
Who would have thought those people showing care about you would be the culprit? Find out how by watching this movie. You won’t regret!
