“Yesterday Was a Lie”: A Movie Review
In the fantasy world of "Yesterday Was a Lie", the beautiful blond protagonist, Hoyle, has cast her ex-boyfriend John as a genius physicist. She feels that his anguish from their breakup has upset the natural order of the universe, and that he believes he can only set things right once more by solving complex quantum physics equations. To accomplish this, Hoyle believes John has murdered a mysterious old man (Peter Mayhew) and robbed him of an old notebook that John believes contains the answers to the equations. In this fantasy world, will John misuse the information in the notebook, actually creating more havoc? "Yesterday Was a Lie" is a bit of a mind bender. How many stars a viewer decides to give it will most likely depend upon how agreeably the viewer believes his or her mind was bent.
