A Look at “The Watchmen” (2008, Zack Snyder)
No spoilers here as I, Richard Robinson, take a look at comic-book spectacular The Watchmen, based squarely on the cult 1980s comic book series of the same name. The themes are mostly adult, as in the excellent “Sin City” (2004) and text warranted an “18″ certificate.

Ron Howard’s “Frost/Nixon” (2008) is a simply told but fascinating docu-drama detailing the intense power struggle between British talk show host David Frost and disgraced former US President Richard Nixon as the pair conduct a series of interviews.
