"The Thing" Prequel is No Equal

Looking at the 2011 movie "The Thing" which is a prequel to John Carpenter’s "The Thing" from 1982. While Carpenter’s movie was once reviled, it has since been revisited and declared a horror classic. The prequel however is unable to maintain Carpenter’s level of suspense.

Halloween: The Original Horror is a Classic

I remember a time when horror movies put the chill up your spine and scared you without all the blood and guts. The Saw series I absolutely love but, nothing can replace “Halloween” the original horror classic created by John Carpenter.

Christmas Movie Review

This festive fright Fest was a pleasant surprise awaited me at first. This is a remake of the horror film (the people behind "Final Destination" – great movie), but not as many, who succeeded him, find assets such as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." This is a remake of Bob Clark’s 1974 slasher classic "Black Christmas", which four years ago was actually John Carpenter "Halloween." Some fans say it was the original horror film.
