First of all I will start with story. For a terminator movie I found it had pretty good story. I like how it was set before the other terminator movies so they were making only T600’s not T800’s. It can be seen as a prequel and a sequel. It showed what happened before the other movies but it also brigs new things to the table. It had hidden things that can bring up many different variations of a sequel like a John Conner having a baby, Sky net factions, the fact that there’s many other resistance’s, and background information. I thought this had the best story of all the Terminators and I do not know why the critics were disappointed.
Now we are moving on to the events and special effects. I do not know how much money it cost to produce this movie. The special effects were amazing; they did an exceptional job animating the terminators. They did an extremely good job dong the explosions and almost everything in this movie. I wanted to see a little more action in it but there was enough to keep me satisfied. If you like explosions, this is a definite movie for you.
There was not much to the visuals in this movie. The one thing I liked is that there wasn’t much color, it was mostly grey and I didn’t even notice till the end when my friend told me there was no color. I don’t mean it was black and white it was just very dull. The thing I liked though was the fact that they had the resistance symbol in red so it showed and symbolized much more.
I didn’t have practically any complaints except for a few. I do not like how the ending was to predictable when the terminator gave John Conner his heart. I also don’t like how they left things to open. I no most people think this is positive but I no a director is going to want to make a terminator movie and it will be horrible and ruin the series for ever, it always happens. My last complaint is that the whole movie can be solved by paying attention in chemistry class. I no you have no clue what I am talking about but you will see when watch how the T800 was defeated. After that I don’t have many complaints, I no that is pretty pathetic for a movie critic.
Next were onto the sound (I know, no nobody cares about this). They did a good job for the special effects sounds. They did a good job getting music to suit the scenes but it wasn’t extraordinary.
Overall: I think they did an extremely good job on this movie and I hope this director takes on more terminator movies. Effects: 8 sound: 7 Story: 9 action: 8 visuals: 8 overall: 8, Great Job (forgot directors name).
