I will have to see it. But I think I will wait till it comes out on DVD. Thanks for the suggestion.
wow, so interesting movie.
The Planet of the Apes was good, I hope this doesn’t disappoint
I’ve read the book Planet of the Apes but and I didn’t like the new version of the movie. The old version I was okay with. However, I am intrigued by this new movie…
I’ve seen planet of the apes where Mark Walberg… I think is the main hero. This is definitely something to watch. Thanks Jimmy and you have so many articles, I’ll check the others as soon as I can.
Haha, yeah Planet of the apes (the remake of the old one) really needs a reboot. I just hope this one won’t be as retarded.
Ok? I guess the powers that be, whatever those may be, feel the necessity to redeem themselves for that atrocity staring Marky Mark. They unabashedly butchered a classic. Hollyweird has been hacking at the bloody pulp of this brainchild for 4 decades, trying to bleed out the franchise properly. Why stop now? Ever since the sequel to the Chaz Heston original, one after another of these things disappoints. They have ALL stunk to high heaven, with the exception of the first one, of course. I will not go and see this film out of respect of the ghosts of decency-if any remain that is. Somethings should be left alone for two good reasons. One: I read and edit scripts for a living and I can tell you unequivocally thee are a lot of good writers whose projects fall by the way side to recycle the old “known” quantities. Two: Classics like this should be untouchable in my opinion. Who thinks it would be OK for someone to remake a Kubrik film and the “re-interpret” the White Album? Hmm? I didn’t think so….
