This is a movie about a man who falls in love with a woman, who can’t remember him.
The movie starts out on a tropical place. Girls talk about a guy names Henry. Henry breaks up with a girl. He sews a man named Ula up while the man talks to his children. Henry takes care of an animal. Later Henry goes sailing and then goes to have a coffee. He sees Lucy and falls in love. He goes back to work and checks on a pregnant animal. Henry goes back to see Lucy. He helps her build a waffle house, and gets to talk to her. He tells her she will see her tomorrow. He then goes golfing with his friend. He has a date with a girl. A bad storm comes so he goes see Lucy. She does not remember him. A lady tells Henry about Lucy’s memory problem and the car accident she was in. She tells him she lost her short term memory. Lucy goes home to paint. The family does the same thing everyday. Henry talks to his friend about Lucy. Henry goes to see Lucy again. For days he tries to be with Lucy. He gets to be with Lucy when he pretends he can read. He meets Lucy’s dad Marlin and brother Doug, but it does not go so well. He finds more ways to hang out with Lucy. He tries to prevent Lucy to freak out. It does not work, and Lucy finds out that she lost her short term memory. The Marlin shows pictures from the accident. Henry and Lucy goes to see the doctor about the accident. The next day he gives her lilies. Henry makes a video for Lucy. Lucy meets up with her friends and then Lucy video tapes Henry. He gets to go on many dates with her. One time they fall asleep together. Lucy wakes up and wackes him. Henry goes to work. Lucy comes to see him. She comes to tell him to break up with him. He sees her everywhere. He decides to get off the island. Lucy’s family comes to see Henry. Lucy now works at the institute now. While Lucy works Henry turns the boat around to see her. She does not remember him. She shows him the pictures she paints that are of him. Henry talks to her. Later Lucy wakes up and watches a video. She sees she was married to Henry. She goes outside to find that she has a daughter. She sees she is on a boat with Henry, her daughter, Marlin.
