Disturbing Behavior
A new kid in town encounters a group of teenagers, and he feels something is weird about these kids despite their perfection.
It is a major motion picture from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It is based on the screenplay of Scot Rosenberg and a novel of John Whitman. This film is directed by David Nutter. The casts are James Marsden, Katie Holmes, Nick Stahl, Bruce Greenwood, William Sadler, Chad Donella and other cast members.
Synopsis:
Are they Blue Ribbons or Blue Robots? Blue Ribbons is an exclusive student organization of Cradle Bay High that is organized by Dr. Caldicott, the school’s psychiatrist. They are said to be the best teenagers in town. Their motto is “Go Forward!” It is a support group for the other teenagers who experienced high pressure in social life.
Steven Clark is new in town. He is going to find out that the Blue Ribbons is an experimental project of Dr. Caldicott. At first, Steven did not believe of what Gavin Strick said about the Blue Ribbons, and Gavin Strick felt betrayed. Then, Gavin Strick is the next prospect for Dr. Caldicott’s experimental project.
In the end of the story, Mr. Dorian Newberry, the school janitor, did not expect that his invention would save Steven and his friends from the attacks of the Blue Ribbons.
Conclusion:
Dr. Caldicott wanted his town Cradle Bay to be the perfect town so he had this experimental project. He first tried this to his own daughter but it was not successful. His daughter ended to a mental patient in Cradle Bay’s asylum. But, what is the problem with the Blue Ribbon if they are perfect as they excel in any school activities? They turned to be abnormally aggressive when they are frustrated. They are suppressing their real emotions as they do not know what the right thing to do is. Humans should be normal in showing their emotions and letting out their frustrations as they are not suppressing them. Normal people are enthusiastic and adventurous type of a person.
I like this film. It is closed to the former film I watched which is Perfect Little Angels. I like the performance of each actor who portrays their role in the story.
