Well, movies generally are not worth talking about. Not anymore. On Wednesday April 29,2009. The movie The Soloist is going to be released to all those who do not know much about music. Well, this is the true of the remarkable Nathaniel Ayers. He was done on his luck and homeless, but with the help of his friend at the Los Angelos Times made it through. The imagery really does exist. Bottleneck highways and slums are still present in LA today.
This movie is well cast. Robert Downey, Jr is the white guy at the La Times. Downey has been in trouble himself, so it is good to see him doing this movie and well.
Jamie Foxx the rap rock singer is playing Nathaniel Ayers. Jamie cannot sing. His lyrics and music are just too wild. Seeing him on the Grammy Awards this past year changed every body’s mind in the music business. He did a wonderful tribute to The Four Tops and made the house cry because only one original member is left. This is Motown records 50th anniversary. Go see this movie. Jamie does a fine job of acting playing Ayers. A pleasant surprise!
This movie is cast well and great sound and light. You will see it at the Oscars next year. At least for best actor or best supporting actor. The prelease party was great and so are all the reviews. Do yourself a favor. See The Soloist and truly celebrate art, and music. It is a rare treasure to see it on screen.
Good job guys!
April showers do bring May flowers!

Nice piece – thanks
Will check it out. Thanks for your input…
