Ok, here is the thing about Tokyo Gore Police: I gave it a 21/25, but that does not necessarily mean I would watch it again. There is no way for me to accurately explain the plot to. Instead, I am giving you not a movie review, but a movie warning. Tokyo Gore Police is not for the easily disturbed. Now, I find the images quite creative, original, and interesting, but I am a tad bit crazy. As far as being disturbed go, let’s just say I have seen “Cannibal Holocaust” dozens of times. There is not a whole lot shakes me up anymore. For the average person, the visuals press the line of what is right. Very shortly into the movie, you will find yourself completely forgetting that there is a plot of any sorts because you will be too distracted by its disturbing nature. It’s one of those movies that cares more about crossing boundaries of what people want to see. You will be left saying “What the heck did I just see?!” Final words, if you like the absurd, and can handle taboo images….go for it.
