I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was. When I started watching it I figured it would be just like the rest you Lucie, Edmond, Susan and Peter would return to Narnia who knows how reminisce on old trips have a swim. And then obviously just like the first two I thought some new enemy would arise and after a big war and many tears it would end happily ever after. But the voyage of the dawn treader threw me for a twist right off the bat.
This time around the 4 kings and queens of Narnia had been split up, where Lucie and Edmund have to step it up and become the heroes but unfortunately for them they have to drag along there cousin Eustace. Eustace is at the start a complete jerk when the 3 of them arrive on the boat through a painting this time. Instead of an all out war they have to find 7 swords to save Narnia from a mysterious evil.
Will they succeed? You will have to watch to find out, will they be able to resist temptation or will they give in to the darkness.
I strongly recommend this film to anyone who likes suspense, lots of action, and surprisingly it has actually contains a deep slowly and tensely revealing plot.
