Why You Should Watch the New Harry Potter Movie Half Blood Prince

     The new Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” comes out July 15, 2009.  With much anticipation, this movie was scheduled to originally be released into theaters last fall.  As to not have to compete with the movie “Twilight” which was due to open the same weekend, Warner Bros. decided to move the release date to July, eight months later.  True Harry Potter fans were disappointed when this new came out and ranted their feeling in blogs all over the Internet.  Now that the time is finally upon us, why should you view this movie?  Well, there are many reason but I have chronicled my top ten reasons you should watch it when it comes out on July 15th.

1. The first reason to watch this movie is that it promises to be the best movie so far in the series.  If you have not yet watched any of the Harry Potter movies or even read the books- this movie is a great place to start.  It will be  2 hours and 33 minutes long and is suppose to stay very true to the book. 
2. The second reason is that Harry finally kisses Ginny.  We all knew it was going to happen but it is still so shocking.  At least Harry isn’t with Cho anymore!
3. The third reason to watch this movie is the very end of the movie is so completely shocking (if you haven’t read the books.)  I won’t tell you why- you have to watch the movie!
4. The fourth reason is because it is directed by David Yates.  He directed Order of the Phoenix and did a great job.  I felt that Order of the Phoenix was too short, though, so it is great that this movie is going to be a lot longer.
5. The fifth reason to watch it is that it’s also in Imax.  How cool is that!
6.  The sixth reason to watch it is that everyone is going to watch it.  You will want to know what everyone is talking about.
7.  The seventh reason to watch this movie is Nicholas Hooper is the composer.  He is awesome.  The music will be fantastic.
8.  The eight reason is that Professor Severus Snape is teaching the Defense of the Dark Arts class.  Of course, he is the best character so this will be great- his dream come true.
9. The ninth reason is that Harry Potter rocks!  It is not only the greatest book series ever, it is the greatest movie series ever, also.  See what all the hype is about and watch the movies! (or better yet, read the books!)
10.   The tenth reason to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is to see if Ron and Hermoine finally get together!  We all want them to and in the last movie there were some hints.  I really hope they do!!
