Why Girls Love Edward Cullen

I guess almost all in the younger generation know who Edward Cullen is. Even the young moms, young professionals and almost all who watched “Twilight” love his character. He is the perfect guy. He is a good catch. Just the guy whom we would want to bring home to mom and dad. There is only one problem though, he is a vampire. But who cares ? Nobody can resist his charm. Almost everybody loves him. Does that mean Bella has to watch out?

Edward fights very hard to overcome his thirst for human blood. His high regard for good over evil is something every human would appreciate. He has an unending thirst for human blood, he has the power to do whatever he wants to do, his strength can overpower any human being that he chooses to be his prey, he has the charms any woman could never resist but he chose to live like a normal being. The movie has taught us many lessons in life, love, discipline and the importance of family.

What really struck me was how he loves and protected Bella. He’s always concerned of her and he was respectful of her father. One thing that is missing in most men today. How I wish all men are like him. The character of Edward Cullen was played by the very talented and attractive Robert Pattinson while Isabella “Bella” Swan by the lovely Kristen Stewart. Other main characters were Charlie (Billy Burke) as Bella’s dad, Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli) and Esme Cullen (Elizabeth Reaser), Edward’s mom and dad. His siblings are Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale (Ashley Green and Jackson Rathbone), Rosalie Hale and Emmett Cullen (Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz).

Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), is Bella’s childhood friend. In the next book of the Twilight saga, New Moon, Jacon plays Bella’s protector when Edward would leave her as Edward believed this is the right thing to do so he won’t endanger her life again. He did this to protect her. There will be a love-triangle between the three and Bella would have to make the most difficult decision. Many people already know the story but everyone is excited to see the whole book in a movie. The first book of the saga, Twilight, was successfully loved by people around the world. Would the next movie New Moon keep up with the ratings ?
