The Amazing Spider-man is a Basketball
Spider-Man has a new costume in The Amazing Spider-Man.

The Amazing Spider-Man probably plays good basketball. It’s always on his head!
There’s a new Spider-Man movie after Toby Maguire and director Sam Raimi. It’s called The Amazing Spider-Man and unlike the costume of Toby Maguire in the Super-Man movies directed by Sam Raimi, this costume has more texture and deviates just slightly from the original design with new lines and more of the blue in the arms and gloves. It actually looks more rubbery—enough for Spider-Man’s head to look like a basketball.
Die-hard fans of Spider-Man may or may not like it, but it is supposed to be a new story. We already saw Spider-Man’s origin in the first Maguire-Raimi movie, but this one promises something fresh while not keeping true to the original. Peter Parker, now played by Andrew Garfield is slimmer and instead of using material from his own body to make spider silk, he uses his trustworthy web shooters which he invented (he’s supposed to be a science wiz after all).

Andrew Garfield looks slim in the new Spider-Man costume.
Garfield actually looks good in the costume. He looks like a lean Spider-Man, although the head is still the same with the costume on, even when the shape of his head does not match that of his alter ego (they used a hard mask underneath the outer one). A close up of the top of Spider-Man’s head reveals a texture and detail of the costume that reminds us of a basketball. But it’s not really a problem. What counts is the story. Good stories make a good movie. The Amazing Spider-Man supposedly has a good one written by Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves. It’s directed by Marc Webb.
What do you think of this Spider-Man reboot?
Poor Tobey Maguire. His days as Spidey are over.

Cheers for this one
