Mermaid: The Body Found Says These Mythical Sea Creatures are Aquatic Apes

The tales of the legendary mermaids have been in existence since the ancient Roman times, and even during those times, men used to ask the question, ‘How do mermaid have sex?’

    Well this question even troubles Charlie Foley, who is a filmmaker, which made him start working on this documentary movie,’Mermaid: The Body Found,’ which aired on Animal Planet last month. Well, this documentary doesn’t have videos of mermaids and mermans having sex but has a small scene of a mermaid giving birth. 

    However, Foley doesn’t claim that mermaid actually exists, but he finds mermaids a very fascinating creature who has been talked about in stories and tale since thousand years. Till date, there has not been an evidence of a mermaid sighting but  there are some people who claim to have seen mermaids and researchers believe that they may have seen creatures like manatees or dugongs which was they claim to be mermaids.

   Well, there is a theory developed by researches called the “Aquatic Ape Theory.” According to this theory, it is claimed that in history when coasts were flooded heavily, some humans went further inland in search of food while some went down to the ocean in search of food. Charlie Foley’s movie is based on this theory about Mermaids.

    It was reported that Foley told the media that there has been various cases in which terrestrial animals have gone aquatic. Therefore, if this was possible with human too, this maybe how mermaids exists.questions on whether mermaids might be plausible.”
