This is a guide on different ways to train all the combat types.
Attack- To Train Attack you have to use the accurate (or usually the first) type of attack style. Attack can also be trained from controlled xp but that also goes into Strength and Defence. To train attack starting out use bronze scimmies or short/longswords and upgrading when needed all the way to dragon. When at dragon I suggest getting the dragon scimitar and training up to 70. ONCE AT 70 get an abyssal whip. Keep training all the way through to 99 . Enjoy. (Kill monster that will get you monetary value while training such as dragons, slaying, etc.)
Strength- Use Scimitars and upgrade/maintain them all the way to dragon. Now here you have the choice between staying with a dragon scimmy the whole entire time or get a sara sword later on with high enough stats and use that. I suggest scimitar to save money to prevent buying a fluctuating item.
Defence- Virtually any weapon is good to use for this stat, it depends on all on your personal frame of reference. But something that I have heard of doing is once you can use a zammy spear go to greens or blue with anti fire potions and use them.
Constitution-You will train this automatically everytime you attack an NPC or other player. Using Range,Mage,Att,Str, or Def in a combat situation where you do damage and take life away will get you xp for this skill.
Range- There are numerous ways of doing this skill. I personally did Iron arrows while upgrading bows and went to hill giants, moss giants, dragons, etc. That way there was very little money lost and/or lots of money gained from drops. A very quick way to train this stat to look into is red chinchompas at different locations such as skele monkeys.
Magic- For magic, you will be spending loads of money off the bat unless you do wind strikes for the whole time. You have again a very wide variety to choose from. I did multiple different things for mage xp. But some of the best is once you can high alch do that on the items that are suggested to save you from spending to much and then once you get ice bursts (must do quest for) burst until barrages. Once barrages go barrae/burst rock lobs for charms for summoning and until 99 mage
Summoning- All you gotta do is get the charms and the objects to make the pouches. Not much to really be said about this skill because it all depends on the charms you have and the amount of money you have avaliable on how your going to train it. Go to Rock Lobs for charms or do a team @ corp.
Prayer- Whenever you can for this skill use ectofunctus or a guilded alter with 2 burners. You will save mills in the long run. Just upgrade through bones or ashes as you go and make sure you go plenty of money or time on your hands to do this skill.
