Is Drew Barrymore set to direct Eclipse?
Is Drew Barrymore really about to direct the third installment of The Twilight Saga, ‘Eclipse’? Hmm, I heard this and really just kind of sat there with a blank stare. No offense to Drew, but what business does she have directing the film?
Twilighter’s aren’t exactly thrilled that this is going to be the third director change, but the fact that out of all people that can and could direct the film, how in the heck did Drew Barrymore get thrown into the picture? Word is she is currently talking with Summit Entertainment about the project.
It is obvious that the pressure will be on to get the third movie up and running as soon as possible, but why all the director changes. The character’s are getting older and time is precious, however, if Twilight wants to be true to its fans it will want to be careful about what it does with the upcoming films.

nah.. surely not. I just saw the movie and loved it, but I dont think drew would be a fit.
There are tons of rumors of who the next director will be. I guess we shall all have to wait and see!
great review. i think the management behiind the movie still haven’t got their act together and in desperation (for some reason) they keep on changing directors, film crew or whatever. they seem under pressure to deliver and should really take a more constructive approach. after all, once it’s recorded on tinsel screen, it’s for life.
