At first glance one would think that this is just another ordinary, animated, kids movie but in fact, “Up” is much much more than that. It tells the story of Karl Frederickson who in the 78 years of his life has never been on a real adventure despite of the dreams that he shared so passionately with his wife. With the use of comedy the film just keeps giving the whole way through, there is never a dull moment and at only 96 minutes long it is sure that this film will not bore you, however old or young you are. This is not the kind of movie that you forget within half an hour of watching it, the movie is sure to touch you emotionally and if you watch it in 3-D, maybe even physically. It is definitely worth paying to see this film and I would even recommend buying it as soon as it comes out on DVD. Who ever thought that a film about an old grumpy man would be so compelling?
