Too sexy to the macabre “Millennium” Fincher
When the acclaimed director of “social network” got to work with his adaptation of “Men Who Hate Women”, dozens of actresses surrendered at his feet to get the role of Lisbeth Salander.
The lucky chosen was Rooney Mara, who captivated Fincher with the opening scene of his film about the creator of Facebook. But before there were others who tried. And one of them was Scarlett Johansson.
Fincher has given an interesting interview to the magazine ‘Vogue’, where he reveals the reasons why not choose the sexy actress. “Scarlett Johansson was great. He auditioned incredible, but what happens is that Scarlett can not wait to take off your clothes … and Salander must be some sort of ET”. And in the case of Rooney Mara the decision was easier because Fincher always found it “weird.”
Furthermore, the director noted that the study and the producers did not want to Mara and had to fight for it “as if it were the last puppy that nobody wants.”
“Men Who Hate Women” in 2012 to reach Argentina.
