Movie Review: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
The fourth Harry Potter movie.
I have recently been reading the Harry Potter books and I just managed to finish the fourth book, upon conclusion of the fourth book I decided I should watch the fourth movie after. Now keep in mind since I do not want to give away anything for those of you that have not seen it, if there is a part with spoilers I will italicize the words so you will know not to read it if you do not want the movie/book spoiled!
Upon the start of the movie I instantly noticed how different the book is from the movie. There are so many things left out from the book in the movie. For example, in the book Harry started out at the Dursley household and then was taken to Ron’s house where Harry and them knew they were going to the Quidditch World Cup. In the movie they had no idea that they were going to the cup and Harry started out in Ron’s room! Continuously throughout the movie important details were left out.
The point of the Goblet of Fire movie and book is Harry getting entered into a tournament in the school that leads to the end of the tournament in a very weird state. In the end of the fourth book and movie Voldemort, the main antagonist of the series, returns from his near death form. This puts a lot of suspense and action at the end of the movie that really puts you on the edge of your seat. This Harry Potter book is probably my favorite one out of all of them since it really starts the action and makes what Harry Potter is truly about and what will happen in the coming books.
Although I enjoyed the book much more than the movie, the movies are still always nice to see just to get a visual of everything and compare it to what you thought it to be when you were reading the book!
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is a terrific movie adaption of a book like all the movies in the Harry Potter series are that is why I give it a 5 out of 5 stars as well!
