Butterfly Effect

The movie starts out when a guy goes back in time. Then it goes 13 years earlier when he was younger. He wants his dad but he can’t be there. His mom drops him off at school. Evan gets tests done on him. Evan does lots of writing in his journal. He seems to forget what he was doing sometimes, which has his mom concerned. George is Kayleigh’s and Tommy’s father who watches Evan and his children. George makes Evan and Kayleigh star in a movie. Evan forgets again. In April Evan gets to see his father Jason. Evan and his dad talk, then Jason tries to kill Evan. The people kill Jason. Evan goes to his father’s funeral with Kayleigh. Six years pass. Evan and his friends blow up a mailbox. Evan forgets again. Lenny is in shock. Later at a movie theater Tommy beats up a guy and is taken away. Evan’s mom tells him their moving. Lenny comes back from the hospital. Tommy is back and harming Evan’s dog. Evan and his mom finally move. Seven more years pass. Evan lives in a dorm room with a guy. Evan falls for a girl and she finds his old journals. Evan reads some of the stories from his journal. Evan visits Lenny. Evan goes back to his dorm and reads more of his journals. Evan and Kayleigh meet, and talk for a while. Tommy calls to tell Evan Kayleigh killed herself and that he is going to kill Evan. Evan goes to Kayleigh’s grave when no one is around. Evan reads his journals again. Evan realizes he is back in time and tries to save Kayleigh. Evan wakes up in a new world. His head is filled with new memories. He sees that Kayleigh is different. Evan takes Kayleigh out to dinner. Evan’s car is trashed. Tommy is released. Tommy and Evan fight. Evan kills Tommy and Evan is sent to jail. Evan talks to his mom in jail to get his journals back. Evan reads some of them. Evan goes back in time, but messes up his plan. Evan goes into another world. Evan ends up in the hospital. Evan finds Lenny in the hospital. Evan reads more of his journals. Evan talks to his dad. Evan goes searching for Kayleigh. Evan finds Kayleigh and talks to her. Evan reads his journal and goes back in time. Evan wakes up to find he lost his arms and hates his life. His mom has cancer and she can barely talk. Evan reads his journal. He goes back when he first met Kayleigh but nothing changes. Then he goes to when George wants to make a video. Kayleigh dies and Evan goes into another world. He wakes up in a mental hospital. He talks to his doctor. Evan passes out. Evan goes into the room with the home movies. Evan locks the door and watches home movies. He goes back when he first met Kayleigh. His world changes a lot. Lenny does not know who Kayleigh is. Evan burns all his journals. Eight years later Evan and Kayleigh walk by each other.
