When it comes to filmakers the founder of The Filmboy Project Sam Evans is one of the best up and coming talents in the business.

Sam Evans started the aptly named “Filmboy Project” in 2008, after studying at the New York Film Academy and finishing top of his class, he set on a voyage to display his creativity to the world. His efforts paid off when his first music video earned him a commendation and membership to the Chartered Society of Designers.

He is currently based in London and is focusing the majority of his efforts on music videos, working with mainly up and coming or unsigned artists his music vidoes are played out like visual artistry at its very best. One of his most poignant and successful videos to date was a video for East London based Hip Hop duo “DNA” the song was “Never wanna lose you” and it generated over 1 million hits on a popular social networking site. Other artists Evans has worked with are; Relentless Crew, Karl Philips and the midnight ramblers, and Jasmin  Tadjiky.

Sam’s work speaks for itself, the pictures he puts to the music seems to bring the song alive, his work is crisp and eyecatching and many up and coming acts are eager to work with him on future projects.

He is currently putting together an animation/comic book that will be available in the near future, so watch this space for the latest developments in the world of filmaker extraordinaire Sam Evans.
