Zoolander

A movie review on a great film, Zoolander.

Zoolander is a great comedy for your movie night. If you want fun for everyone this is the film for you. It is fine for the family. Almost no swearing and nothing too bad. It is funny to adults and children who are old enough to get some of the jokes. There is also some good slapstick if you have smaller ones who won’t get the jokes. Don’t let little kids watch if you are worried about them repeating things (not too much of that though). The movie is about Derrick Zoolander (Ben Stiller) who is male model of the year several years in a row. He is up against his rival Hansel (Owen Wilson), to maintain his title. Zoolander is lead into the evil side off the fashion industry as he, Hansel and a news reporter Mathilda Jeffrey’s () uncover all the dirty secrets. They all show a great performance as two bumbling models and the one with the brains. Ben Stiller’s parents are in it as Zoolander manager and an angry protester. The villain, Mugatu (Will Ferrel) is great as an awkward fashion designer. The acting isn’t necessarily bang on from everyone but it is a funny movie, worth at least one watch, all though I’ve probably seen it one hundred times. The music to the film is also great, showing the characters emotions. I’m a fan of this movie and I hope it will blow you away. And remember models are professionally good looking, so don’t try it at home.
