New Comedy, Old Comedy
All about comedy in the normal minded terms without fancy words thrown at you.
Comedy is by far the best source for laughter and comes in many forms. But I just want to mention a few. Also, I want to mention I do not know professional terms, but I know terms you should be able to understand.
- Old style humour. You have the old slapstick jokes where there are clever little usually clean puns and such. Any senior will love it. Just kidding you kind old folks out there. =)
- The new stuff like Bob Saget. Well, he’s a vulgar mean, and awkward. Oh! He’s also funny to most young viewers in the new generation. Why? Vulgar and disgusting things so outrageous people don’t know what to do but laugh.
- Dennis Leary style, the kind of thing where you mention real situations and explain how ridiculous they are with your own twist on it. Now don’t get me wrong, the past names I’ve mentioned both use many styles of comedy, but I’m just mentioning ones that stick out more than others.
- Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook, and other people who depend on motions and voice changing as the main part of their jokes. No one can pull off their jokes how they do because most of the joke really is just how they deliver the punchline.
Feel free to say your favorite kind of comedy, or even criticism on others. I’d like to see what others think.
