Miss March
The story is told as a high school senior, Cregger, falls into a four year coma after an accident. He wakes up to hear his high school sweetheart, Alessi, has now become a playmate for the Playboy magazine. However, his sex-crazed friend informs him of a party at the Playboy mansion as a chance to see his former girlfriend and figure things out.
After hearing about this movie, and watching the trailer I only thought, it’s another wannabe “American Pie” movie. Only as I got my popcorn and found myself watching the movie did I realize that Miss March was originally unique. The story is told as a high school senior (Cregger) falls into a four year coma after an accident. He wakes up to hear his high school sweetheart (Alessi) has now become a playmate for the Playboy magazine. However his sex-crazed friend informs him of a party at the Playboy mansion (in his own desire) as a chance to see his former girlfriend and figure things out.
The movie didn’t disappoint in anyway possible. The characters all followed up to the surprise ending that just left you with a long-lasting laugh and a good feeling about yourself. The director, Zach Cregger, also one of the main characters, completely portrayed the idea of road movies and comedy. The theater was filled with laughter and readied smiles. From blunder, and blend mouth, irony to repartee this one hour and thirty minute movie was worth the comedic while. There’s only a hundred words to describe this movie as funny and yet that’s not enough.
