When i first heard that ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ was making a movie, i thought to myself “Here we go again.” Disney trying to squeeze all the juice it can out of a series. The plot of the story is, Alex (The mischevous middle child) and her family go away on vacation. Alex didnt want to go in the begining and the vacation keeps taking wrong turns. Finally she was fed up with her mother telling her what to do. Accendentaly, she cast a spell wishing her parents had never met. So Justin, Alex, and Max must now try to find La piedra de Sueños or The stone of Dreams, to keep from disappearing and reverse the spell. As the movies started it was just like a typical episode. Only difference was better camera angles, and better lighting. They are all packing and alex is up to her tricks as usual. They get to the island they are staying on and eventually alex cracks. She makes the wish and, BAM, her parents never met. They quickly are losing memories and time to try and solve this. I thought this would be straightforward. A little adventure here, they find the stone and reverse the spell. i was wrong. Justin finally admits why he always tries so hard, and feelings start pouring out. Alex and Justin are on the quest to find the stone. They left max behind to keep their parents from meeting other people. This movie will enrapture you. There are tense moments, funny moments, and sad moments. it deserves a 3.5/5 on my half. Good job disney, way to put another good one out there.
