Is the movie Where The Wild Things Are ok for kids or not?

The new movie where the wild things are staring 12 year old Max Records came out on Oct. 13th 2009. Some say the movies isnt for kids because there are some scary parts to it. Like come on people its just a movie. If your kid is to scared to watch the rest of the movie then leave. Dont just say no your not going to a movie your child might actually like. If there scared then so what, theyll get over it sooner or later. So if you really want to see the movie but think you cant because of the kids, just go for it.
