Truth Behind Three Idiots
Three Idiots recently hit the block buster. It is a super hit bollywood Movie.
3 Idiots starer AMIR KHAN and other 2 actors [Madhvan] presented by Hirani recently hit the block buster.

It is a super hit movie released on 25th December this year. BOLLYWOOD movie presented amazingly by HIRANI. The acting of Kareen, AMIR and Madhvan is fabulous. The film is based upon the stories of students studying in the Top engineering college of India [IIT]. The idea behind the movie is that students should not only be judged by their study skills. But everyone is special having special features and skills. There was no difference between the teacher of Taare zameen par and the AMIR of 3 Idiots. After watching the movie the meaning of the word Idiots has now been changed and taken into the form of Brave, intelligent, lover and etc. Now the groups are establishing from the name of Idiots.
3 Idiots earned and hit more than Gajini of AMIR. It is really a worth watching movie. But their is something another story behind the success of 3 Idiots. It is the story based upon the Novel of Chetan bhagat 5 points someone. But Chetan bhagat has given no credit at all in the film. They have taken the whole story for the production of 3 Idiots as the whole story is based on 5 points someone but no credit has been given to Chetan bhagat. Chetan bhagat is most famous, young, pass out from IIT, an MBA graduate[worked in World bank] is leading and favorite writer of Indian public. Chetan bhagat’s fans knew it very well that 3 idiots is a story of 5 points someone.

The movie Hallo has given a full credit to Chetan bhagat as it was based on his novel 1 night @ call centre.
But here they are saying that the story is different. Before starting the film Hirani and AMIR has announced that they are going to make a film on 5 points someone, they make it a superstar 3 Idiots but given no credit at all to Chetan bhagat. Chetan bhagat is upset but don’t want to file a case. He don’t want legal administration. But he is not happy.

Such kind of behaviour should not be happen with writers. They should be given Credit.

I live in US and I just saw Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s interview on the Chetan Bhagat issue on Aaj Tak channel. His comments were in poor taste saying that when a film becomes such a major hit, lots of people come out to claim fame. Did not expect such a poor comment form a director like VVC about the very writer of the book on which his movie is based, according to his own announcement when the movie project started. Shame on you VVC!
Before the movie released, it was known to everybody that the movie is based on FPS by Chetan Bhagat.
That why i was so excited abt the movie.
Aamir just acted in this movie and played the role of Chetan Bhagat .
aamir is just a actor but not a good human as i used to expect.
(I used to like you aamir,but after this ,I hate you from core of my heart).You no need to give credit to Mr. Chetan,he doesnt need it.Full country knows what is Chetan and God has blessed him with unique creativity.
we know the book is written by Chetan and Credit goes to him only

I agree.. Chetan s’d definitely get credit.. they say only 3-5% movie is based on FPS.. what crap.. I w’d say more than 50% of movie is based on FPS.. only its made “filmy” and changed thoda storyline to make it commercially successful… and whole movie is based on “Rancho” .. it should be named as “1 Idiot” and not “3 Idiots” .. the basic underlying message of the movie.. of students not having freedom to choose their own field is from FPS… various incidents in college.. the college terrace.. college HOD .. all is from FPS.. I dont know how can they even think of saying its only 3-5 % of FPS..

I think there is some misunderstanding about what really happened.Guys if u follow today’s Times of India,there is a report on this topic.. I have just quoted few lines..
“It is unfortunate that Chetan is behaving in this manner” he said.Giving due credit to scriptwriter Abhijat Joshi and Rajkumar Hirani,Aamir said they have “abided by the contract” entered with Chetan.
“For nearly three years,Abhijit has been working on the script.It is unfortunate that Chetan is trying to take away the credit from someone not as famous as he is”.He also mentioned how Chetan had dropped in on the sets of “3 idiots” one day,when Aamir had the chance to interact with him.”During the conversation I told him that I was yet to read ‘Five point someone’,which I intended doing something soon.Chetan told me that Abhijit’s script is different and I might not necessarily read the book.Let’s not talk about this topic and move on to other interesting things.”
Interestingly,the author in his blog also mentioned “this has nothing to do with Mr Aamir Khan.”
so buddies don’t emotional,I am also a great fan of Chetan Bhagat like u.. but unfortunately it was a deal.and from the very beginning of the film’s promotion it was said that this film is loosely based from “five point someone”. Chetan was very much concerned about what was going to happen.. but he expected a little recognition from the makers .and unfortunately. which they didn’t..but as the author mentioned “this has nothing to do with Mr Aamir Khan”.But Aamir said because of the “not much famous” nd “not so rich”scriptwriter Abhijit Joshi,who can get the floor by this film.. And lastly,I think that the more this film get success, more strongly Chetan Bhagat will be in our mind not as Rancho but Ryan.. without the recognition of the “idiots”.

This all is wrong. 80% of the movie is based on chetan bhagat’s 5 points someone and he should be given credit. Amir has not read the book yet he is cheating with chetan like he has cheated with his brother and his wives. The story is of chetan bhagat.
I can’t understand from where Aamir’s brother is coming in this topic.. I think this “Apoorva” is drawing these bogus topics bcoz he/she is not concerned about the entire issue and not a Chetan Bhagat fan,rather may be a Shahrukh Khan fan.. SRK is a brilliant actor,performer,enterteiner and overall a good human being..but everytime he faces some problem bcoz of his this type of fans..

i cant say how much % was movie in resonance with the book, but i can say that without 5.someone the movie couldnt be made…
rajkumar and joshi have contributed alot in the script and story… but dont forget chetan on whose book the movie BASED..
these two persons must be given credit but chetan also deserves a credit.. that means in column for story, chetan’s name must be present,which raju dint do..

He said that joshi has worked on his for 3 years.. it is true. but it is also true that he worked on story to make changes.. tremendous changes…but he has not made a new story.. it is the old on with many changes…

well i c in d case its pretty clear dat b4 d release f 3 idiots all person related wit d film was goin abot n sayin dat d film isnt based on fps……….. nw after d film ws released n evry1 clearly found dat d film was FPS with a ryan decorated wit munnabhai goodness nw der s no comments abot d film cos its a kool pic …………..but whats imp is d film s a 85-90% copy f FPS dey hav evn sam scenes ……….. nw VVC hirani n Amir is goin abot sayin dat film rights wer bought frm CB dey y d hell did dey promote d film in d wrg way nw FPS is 1 f bst wrks CB n a bstselr f india so a film almost based in d bok shud really give CB d credit i clrly feel d filmakers r bein unfair 2 CB

70-80% of d movie is from ( 5.some1) d book … VVC is … a cheat i would say .. i won’ say dat the movie is bad its a gr8 movie as an actor and directors they have done a beautful job but claiming that this is dere story its not at all… appreciable.. from these ppl…. ..
they baught the rights to the movie not the story is there …;
if one buys a painting .. he owns it but he can’t claim that he painted it ….:X

Aamir i would sincerely suggest u 2 go nd read it..den cum to a conclusion..Chetan Bhagat is an epitome for what an idol would be..what a youth icon would be…nd u guyzz r blaming him…unbeleivable nd really unfortunate…its not Chetan who is asking for the credits…itzz we,his diehard fans….no doubt that d movie was awesome…bt it would hav never happened without him..and atlast i totally agree with Gurpreet that:

Yes, AMir has not even read the book 5 points someone, as the movie is 90% based on the the story of the book. How could he claim that it is his own story, as it is written so perfectly and best selling novel of our loving Mr. chetan bhagat, who is not offcourse hungry for fame as he is alredy ery famous for his best novels and he have money too, but he just wanted his name in his own story.
