Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

So i saw Michael Bay’s new flick, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, yesterday morning. And after watching it, I must admit, he deserves the titles of genius and badass. The movie was great, however, the only reason I give it an 8 is because of two things: 1) Megan Fox’s face was blown up by botox (just look at her lips). I prefer original Megan Fox. 2) I personally felt the movie dragged on a little too long. Granted, it is an epic movie, but it lost my attention several times throughout the plot development. I pretty much understood the basis of what was going to happen just by speculation from the first movie.

Now as for Michael Bay’s genius; he definitely is a master at portraying future tech. The things he dreams and puts to life on screen are simply astounding. I have mad respect for the visual magic and musical synchronization that gave the perfect movie-going experience.

His badass nature shows itself in his comical standpoint. For two reasons: he obviously likes comics (both the strips and comedians!), and his humor appeals to a wide audience.  There is much adult humor that i personally felt made the best scenes, along with child humor that is mostly spoken by the child-like autobots. But the best part is his ability to flaunt female beauty, both in physical appearance and style. (The Witwicki mom, Julie White, is hilarious!) The Lucas cameo is quite nice as well .

All in all, a great movie. A must see at that. So go see it! Enjoy!
