It was clear that the first transformers was highly anticipated. Director Michael Bay stated numerous times that he recieved numerous calls and emails from hundreds of true Tranformers fans. I personally liked how both Transformers 1 and 2 targeted both a young audience and older. On top of this, the plots were easy to understand for people who weren’t such big fans and just wanted to see the movie.
Transformers 2 opens with action which is always a plus. The movie gets right to the point, drawing in the viewer right away. The fights between the Autobots and Decepticons are too cool and visual effects are great. Mixed in with the action is humor which loosens up the audience and gives em’ a laugh. I think the movie has an adequate and fair ratio between action and humor. Once again, the beloved Bumble Bee does a great job as he always does. The plot doesn’t get boring and is slowly unraveled which keeps you guessing and on the edge of you seat. With good action, funny humor, great characters, and a cool plot, this movie has the key ingredients to draw the right attention and good reviews.
I would give the movie 2 thumbs up and 3 1/2 stars. I would recommend it to anyone.
