Top Three Worst Movie Endings of All Time
Don’t you just hate it when you are watching a great movie, and you come to the end only to be confused by an awful ending? Well if you read this then maybe I can save a couple hours of your life.
"This was going to be top five worst movie endings of all time, but I am lazy so enjoy these three."
1. Stephen King’s “It
The movie wasn’t as good as the book in the first place, but the ending was terrible. Basically a demon that has been on Earth for millions of years manifested itself as “pennywise the clown.” It spent most of it’s time in the sewer system of Derry, Maine. He terrorizes seven kids, and reappears to them in adulthood. They go down in the sewer to kill him, and he turns into, get this, a huge spider! :~( Disappointing right? The worst part is they don’t even kill the thing. It backs off, and one of the adults says “we will be back”
2. The Happening.
The movie in my opinion was great, but the ending was frustrating. Basically nature is taking over by secreting a sort of plague that carries with the wind. The plague causes people to commit suicide. The movie starts in Central Park where people are committing mass suicide, and then sets on the journey of a man, a woman, and a little girl. They manage to escape the plague after a few mishaps her, and there. The movie ends with the new crew saying it was just nature at its worst then the movie cuts to the gardens at Jardins Du Louvre, in Paris France. Two guys are walking discussing work plans, when you hear a distant scream. One guy begins to repeat his words about a bike (repeating words is how the plague starts), and the other guys says “oh my god” in french. Cue the movie credits. I thought that was horrible because why did it start again?
3. The Ring.
I somewhat like the movie, but the ending wasn’t even remotely good. This movie is About an evil tape that if watched, means you will die in exactly seven days. The girl Samara calls you on the phone, and eerily whispers “seven days.” Rachel, a journalist, living in Seattle hears about the tape. Her niece Katie mysteriously dies after watching the tape. Rachel decides to watch the tape, and then takes it home. Her son also watches the tape, and Rachel has to go on a journey with her boyfriend Noah to find Anna Morgan which was Samara’s mother. It turns out Anna Morgan killed Samara by throwing her into a well, and she is now dead too. The only living member of the Morgan family is Richard Morgan who kills himself in front of Rachel. Rachel goes in the well, and finds Samara’s skeleton. She then thinks it is over, but as her boyfriend is going over blueprints in his apartment the television comes on. He sees a well, and Samara crawls out of the well, and literally out of the television. She kills Noah, and Rachel realizing it is not over helps her son make a copy of the tape. The end. I thought it was disappointing, but at least there was a part two.
