Tne American Film Institue, along with the Oscar committee has not honor this legendary actor. Sure he brag about all the female stars he bagged. But his films hold up pretty well. But for one reason or another his talent seems to go unnoticed by his peers. Sure he probably was molded in the Cary Grant, appealed school. An actor who he also did movies with.
But he was charming and well spoken. One of the new breed from the acting school of the golden ages. Him and Rock Hudson, with their Hollywood created names was very popular during the fifties and early sixties. And they surprised some with their acting ability. But like alot of legends. They don’t always get respect.

Need to be honor by the Hollywood elites. Not too many stars from those era living.
