The Dreaded Movie Sequel
Sometimes it’s best to leave a classic movie a classic. And the best way to do that, is to avoid the sequel.
I’m the type of guy that likes to chill and watch a good movie every now and then but I have a problem with some movies. That problem: When movie sequels go too far! Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good movie sequel just like the next man but some just go too far. Did we really need The Next Karate Kid? I’ll answer my own question..NO!! I think Daniel Sondid a very good job by himself, along with MR. Miyagi of course. Young Daniel Larusso grew into big Daniel Larusso and that should have been that. He whinned, fought, trained, won, loss, and even got a car from Mr. Miyagi! Damn that Hilary Swank or how ever you spell her name. And for goodness sakes, did we really need to destroy the great memories provided by the Sandlot with the Sandlot 2? come oooon!! Listen people. There is, was and will only be ONE Benny “the jet” Rodriguez. And dammit, I’m sorry Nike but there will never be another shoe “guaranteed to make you run faster and jump higher” like P F Flyers!!!!
