The Dark Knight Rises This 20th July

In the year 2005,Batman Begins was released which was unlike any other superhero movie.It had a dark charm,it was intense,it was the beginning of a legend.Christopher Nolan weaved his magic through out the film.He redefined the superhero genre with this brilliant movie which was bolstered by amazing performances of Christian Bale,Michael Caine,Morgan Freeman,Liam Neeson,Gary Oldman and Cilian Murphy.The untold story of the origin of the Batman was presented in a stimulating way and the ScareCrow’s scare tactics were out of the world.The movie depicted both the internal struggle of Bruce Wayne as well as his battle against the antagonist.Bruce Wayne overcame his greatest fears,to become a dreaded protector of Gotham city.Batman Begins was an inspiring,intense and intelligent cinema.

3 years later,Nolan launched The Dark Knight into the theatres.It more than satiated the fans of the franchise.Through this movie,the late Heath Ledger provided a bechmark for an antagonist’s role.He portrayed the madness of the character with such panache.He overshadowed every other character in the film with his brilliant performance as the Joker.The Joker’s crimes in the film were outrageous yet insanely elegant.One cannot help but be

 spellbound by his portrayal as the Joker.The Joker’s anectodes were situationally used to create a terrific impact.Aaron Ekchart as Harvey Dent also gave a laudable performance.The movie shows every man has good and bad in him just like 2 sides of a coin and whether he does good or bad is circumstantial or maybe not.Nolan’s movies always have such open ended things which engulfs the audiences.His films make people ponder even after the movie ends.The movie also shows how Batman adheres to his ideals even in the face of adversity,how he performs his duty even if it is not appreciated and how he becomes an outlaw(read Dark Knight) to uphold hope and trust among people.The film is a modern master-piece and a thought provoking one.

20-12-2012,this is the date millions of people across the globe are awaiting with alacrity and fervour,for the Dark Knight shall rise that day.The final installment of the trilogy,the Dark Knight Rises shall release in theatres all around the world on this date.Christopher Nolan promises an epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend and i hope the cult franchise will have an epic culmination.
