“The Avengers” vs. “Dark Knight Rises”

Marvel Studios superhero movie production of ‘The Avengers’ scored remarkable debut when it was first released on May 4. Will record the film’s earnings crossed ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ (TDKR)?

‘The Avengers’ and ‘The Dark Knight’ did so eagerly awaited by fans around the world. Even a few months before its release, already crowded discussion of the second film on the internet.

But the director of ‘The Avengers’ Joss Whedon was not sweat the competition rumor with a film produced by DC Comics ‘The Dark Knight’. Even Whedon was deeply looking forward to the release of Christopher Nolan’s movie plots.

The result leaves ‘The Avengers’ to be the biggest movie debut with income during the summer in North America this year. For Saturday (04/05/2012) alone, the film earned U.S. $ 69 million in the U.S..

While the worldwide revenue for ‘The Avengers’ has collected revenues of U.S. $ 641.8 million or around Rp 5.9 trillion. Superhero movie Marvel has exceeded the total income of “Captain America: The First Avenger” ($ 364 million), “Thor” ($ 449 million), “Iron Man” ($ 585 million), and “Iron Man 2″ ($ 624 million).
