Hey you.. no not you by the left, yeah you! Yesterday you were thinking that Tinker Tailor Soldier and Spy going to win the award, your friends were thinking that Moneyball can stand! Your parents were thinking that The Help can get the chance but how the heck a black and white, silent french film won the oscar award?

I was expecting for Gary oldman to win the oscar award but it didnt happened. Well this french film got the award on several reasons! According to me it is the first silent film which is more joyful than any other film. The french director brought the past in front of old actors, which inspired them and they stood with the film! This is the first silent film which won the Oscar Award for best movie!. No matter how he did it but he did it. Its a fact that whenever you see a great movie in the end of the year another movie comes and takes the place. For example, last oscar award 2011, you people saw inception (ofcourse) and you were hoping that Christopher is the guy but at the end of the year , King’s Speech got the place! I am not saying that King’s Speech was not good enough but i was with the inception. Anyway, Pakistan also got its first oscar award, Daniel Junge and Shirmeen Obaidy for the documentry Saving Face! Pakistan should be happy!
