Star of WWE Films’ The Marine 3: Homefront Revealed!
After stripping WWE Superstar Randy Orton OUT of the movie due to his past as an AWOL Marine, the WWE have replaced him. It’s not John Cena.
The Marine is probably one of the WWE’s most successful and popular movie franchises out of all their mediocre movies. The Marine starred WWE Superstar John Cena, who got a great taste at Hollywood at the time and thankfully did not end up like The Rock. The Marine 2 starred second-generation superstar Ted DiBiase Jr [who I have an autographed Blu-Ray from] and now it comes the time to cast the next Marine for the third spinoff.
Randy Orton was the first choice and he even tweeted that he was excited about the event–however some of the US Marines and even some of Randy Orton’s old squadmates were ‘disgusted’ at this casting choice and thought it was a disgrace to US military. WWE eventually announced the removal of Randy Orton from the movie, and seeked for a new star. The intial thoughts were either CM Punk or John Cena. However, neither of these two men scored the role.
The following press release was issued earlier today:
