Sure they was separate building their legendary reputations. But when they teamed up. They left a undying mark on the comic book systems. We fans know they virtually built the Marvel Universe, along with Don Heck, Steve Ditko, and so many others. Stan Lee, by himself wrote more titles at one time than any other. And this alone shows he was a well read individual. And, Mr. Kirby, we can’t say enough about this created force.
He was known probably before Lee was ever writing. We know he and the great Joe Simon, created our magnificent patriotic Captain American. And once at Marvel it continue. And from listening and reading. It’s alleged that Spider man foundation might have started with Kirby. Where with a little hyphen toss between spider man, a little more sampling of changes. The creators now are Lee and Ditko, with Kirby being pushed aside. But as any writer of comics know. Unless you illustrated the hero on paper. A visualizer or artist is part of the story creation. So Kirby, deserve creativity for many of the heroes walking inside Marvel Universe.
It’s hard for a conglomerate to admit, you might owe compensation. But Warner Communication, were showing kindness to the Superman creators, by giving them a little payment to solve their error in signing away their rights. And Marvel, solve some payment to Lee. Now, it’s time to do the same for Jack Kirby estate.
With all the hit movies they spinning. A thank you to all the sixties creators can’t be too harmful. With out them. The universe called Marvel wouldn’t exist for others to continue.
