Shutter Island Ending

Shutter Island Ending surpasses the famous The End.

Shutter Island Ending surpasses the famous “The End”, as the 1950 tale ends in most expected way, the way we all are used to see.

Few movies has had the ending that make you remain glued to your seats while pondering over the craft with which the director has had ended a movie and Sutter Island fall in that class of movies that make you think there would not be more appropriate ending than this one.

The story is about the disappearance of a prisoner from a locked room of the more mysterious island, Shutter Island Prison. The prison with maximum security inhibits the most dangerous, unstable and deluded prisoners and they are looked after by a team of doctors that treats them like patients and not prisoners but when one of the prisoners disappears, the security officials have no choice other than to call in the feds. Here Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo enter the drama.

The usual network of lies, conspiracies and suspicion begins to be unfolded as Federal Agents begin their job.

The Shutter Island is not a supernatural thriller but a twisted tale of old-fashioned detective style that is adopted from the novel of the same name written by Dennis Lahane who is famous for his works, Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone.
The adaptation has given the novel new heights by Scorsese with his craftsmanship in direction and if you have had gone through the novel you may find the movie best version of the story told in the novel.

Despite the fact that it is a star studded attempt, every star has proven itself worth of being cast in the movie. The whole story will keep you at the edge of your seat for around two hours and although there is possibility that you come to the conclusion before director wants you to come it will keep you thinking for rest of your day how one can end such a master thriller. No doubt none other than Martin Scorsese has the talent to come up to the expectations of his every viewer. The Shutter Island ending will dominate the next Oscars with much less spending than Avatar.
