Ranbir Kapoor- An Actor Par Excellence

“Ranbir Kapoor is good in acting, but he doesn’t have good body shape. In my view Ranbir is in the industry because he is the son of star. Where as Ranvir singh has no background of star family,  he is making his mark in Bollywood with hard work only. Ranvir is also a good actor and he has a good body too as compared to Ranbir Kapoor”. wrote a journo friend of mine named Vishikha in a leading newspaper of Mumbai a year back. Ranbir Singh is still a filmstar  a name many may not know But Ranbir Kapoor can easily take the cake because he is the most googled male actor from the Bombay film industry. He is undoubtedly the most popular and desired male actor and you have to ask his millions of female fans who will do anything to touch him just once. If you had told fourteen year old Ganglu (Yes! That is his pet name) that one day in the not too distant future he would be considered one of the top 100 movie stars of all times, he would have probably grinned and told you that his ambition was to become a Magician. Nonetheless, this sensitive, deeply religious youngster who was born on 28th September in Mumbai, India, was destined to become Ranbir Kapoor, one of the highest paid and most sought-after actors in screen history. His birth time is exactly 12 o clock.

Randhir Kapoor is from a family of Punjabi origin, the son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh; his sister is Riddhima Kapoor. He is the grandson of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, grandnephew of actors and filmmakers, Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor(Now dead but this uncle gave the actor his name Ranbir) great grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor and nephew of actor Randhir Kapoor. Other notable family members include his cousins Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda. As a child, Kapoor studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and went on to pursue method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute In the wonderful city of New York in the U.S.A

Ranbir has been linked with almost all the heroines that he has acted with but none lasted for more time than the movie got released. Infact, career in films is uppermost in his priorities of life. “Love is a strong term and is often misused. When we have girlfriends, we tell everyone we’re in love, when it’s only attraction or a little more than that” answered Ranbir when asked what he understood about love. Not much is known about his other chums in school or otherwise but Ranbir confessed recently to a tabloid that he loves cricket so he is good friends with Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

“Of course, I am proud of the fact that I am closest to my mom. She’s the most important person in my life, and I can do anything for her” said Ranbir when asked; did he feel uneasy when a mommy’s boy tag was attached to him.
