In this movie, the couple suspects that their house is being haunted by evil spirits. And they get very much disturbed when they are sleeping or try to do so. Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat are playing the lead roles. After getting disturbed so much at night, they decide to capture all that is happening around when they fall asleep. So, they set a camera on a tripod and the movie is about all that happened that night.
Paranormal activity is a very low budget movie featured inside a house with two new actors and a single camera. The budget of this movie was about $10,000 and it had made a profit of about 60 million dollars in the first week. This has broken all kinds of records till today I reckon.

Great write up! I personally enjoyed the film. Oh, I also wanted to add that the film was actually made for $11,000, and then the studio gave him $4000 more to re-shoot the ending that Steven Spielberg suggested. I think that’s awesome that Spielberg himself liked the film enough to even give any suggestion to help improve on it.
