Since there were only a few days left in January since my last list was published, I only have two more movies to add.
Total Recall (2012) – This movie was way too strange for me. I thought that it would have been more action/adventure, but it wasn’t. I never saw the original version with Arnold Schwarzenegger so I wasn’t sure what to expect. This movie stars Colin Ferrell as factory worker who makes robots and keeps feeling as if there is something more to his life. He keeps having dreams about being some sort of spy and doing all sorts of dangerous things. It turns out that he is right. Other stars in this movie are Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale. I wasn’t too impressed with this movie, but I don’t like sci-fi. If you are a fan of this genre, you will probably like it. There is one scene when a woman flashes Colin Farrell’s character and we see that she has three breasts! In my opinion, that was just plain stupid and very unnecessary to the storyline.
The Wolfman (2010) -
This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen and I have seen a lot of really bad movies. This one stars Benicio Del Toro as a man who comes back home to England after many years only to find out that his brother has been murdered. People in the village think that he was attacked by a werewolf. Del Toro’s character does not believe their stories and tries to find out who actually committed the crime when he himself is attacked by a werewolf. I really don’t think that Del Toro put much effort into playing this role. I found his acting to be quite amateur and he did not suit the part at all. I don’t know whether he was wearing a wig or if it was his own hair, but he looked ridiculous. His hairstyle reminded me of Moe Howard from the Three Stooges. Other actors in this movie are Anthony Hopkins as Del Toro’s father and Hugo Weaving as a detective from Scotland Yard.
