Movie Review: Gran Torino

Gran Torino is a heart filled movie featuring one of the best actors on the face of the Earth. Clint Eastwood stars as Walt Kowalski who is an old man and his wife has just passed away. He doesn’t like life. He was in wars and knows about more about death then anything else. His neighborhood, too him, has been infected. Many people not like him have moved in and have taken over the area in population. His new neighbors are Asian and try to comfort him and welcome him but he doesn’t welcome them at all. he despises them. But one day, the cousins of the new neighbors try to take one of the boys named Tao. This is where you may have seen in previews Clint Eastwood say “Get off my lawn.” That gang leaves of course but haunt the family throughout the movie. Clint eventually becomes close to his new neighbors and wants to help their cause. What does the title stand for  you ask. Well, its the name of his car. Gran Torino. And he adores it while the rest of the nieghbohood. does too. It is vintage Clint Eastwood, a caring side with a little action and comedy thrown in too. The comedy I have to say is pretty funny to me. The ending of this movie is somewhat happy and sad. But you will have to watch it for yourself if you want to know what really happens in the amazing movie. Please comment. Thank you.
