It's been an unfortunate stigma that silent film actors were over-emotive. This was largely necessary in order to communicate the story without the aid of sound. Nice work, Emma. Love the accompanying videos you've chosen. "Metropolis" and "Nosferatu" are two of my most highly treasured silent films in my collection, along with "Birth of a Nation" , "Modern Times", and "The Tramp".
