Limitless Movie Review

A movie called Limitless came out recently, and I went to see it with my friend. I thought the movie was pretty cool, but also kinda stupid. The movie was written by Neil Burger. I thought the movie was cool, because it was modern. It was something that seemed like it could actually happen, and be amazing. A young writer taking a new drug and becoming so smart that he could be president. What i thought was stupid about the movie is that it made it seem like “hey you can take this deadly drug that gives you amazing abilities, and can kill you if you stop taking it.” It would have been great if left by like that, but they had to add a little part at the end where he was so smart that he remade the drug (NZT) so that it’s effects were permanent, and he no longer needed to take it to have the effects or live. It’s almost saying if you take drugs the effect it gives you can make you so good you can find a way for it not to be dangerous. Just something I found stupid with it…anyways, other than that it was a pretty good movie some of the actors in it are Bradley Cooper Abbie Cornish Robert De Niro Anna Friel Robert John Burke Johnny Whitworth. It was actually a good movie other than than it seeming to be for taking drugs.
