Laugh Till You Spill The Popcorn:

The greatest genre of movies, in my opinion, are comedy ones. They always have a great few laughs and then a heartwarming conclusion at the end. They are the most perfectly balanced movies of all time. Laughter, drama, maybe some horror or a touch of thrills in there, and then one final lesson learned at the end. 

The top ten comedy movies are hard to mark down, but I’ll do my best!

10. Wayne’s World

Party time! Excellent! A Saturday Night Live sketch that went from the television screen to the big screen to all of our memories. If you have yet to see this movie, rent it the next time you go to the local DVD store.

9. Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle

Maybe our younger readers don’t know what this is. Not surprising, considering most parents wouldn’t let their kids watch this stuff either. 

8. Groundhog Day

Living a day over and over again seems like a dream. You can do whatever you want and nothing will happen! No one will remember what happened the night before! What seems like a dream was a nightmare for Phil Connors (Bill Murray).

7. Ghostbuster

Ah, the wonderful classics! Some of you are either thinking that, or “What? Another Bill Murray film?!”

6. Shrek

So it’s animated. So what? This movie still made kids and parents alike fall in love with it.

5. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

Jim Carrey’s wild antics continue on with this “Ace” of a movie

4. Napoleon Dynamite 

You know you love it. If not, you hate it.

3. There’s Something About Mary

Amazingly structured comedy about Mary and her wonderful lovers.

2. Dumb and Dumber

This is the best “in search of lost love” movie out there, and what’s better, it introduced the world to the antics of Jim Carrey

1. Spaceballs

Mel Brooks’ ‘Spaceballs’ remains a classic for all comedy lovers and haters in this world.
