I started to watch them starting at maybe 7 or 8. I didn’t really have much of a choice, because my father was Korean and he liked watching programs that well..fit his language. Eh, the dramas were okay to me, but I really didn’t see the BEAUTY of it until I was 12. That’s when my k-drama frenzy ultimately started, and it’s been continuing ever since.
Luckily for all you people, I’ll list some korean dramas I thought were absolutely fantastic. And I’ll even throw you in the links for the english subbed.
Full House [link]
Oh Lord! This was one of the reasons why I got hooked into k-dramas. It’s about this girl named Han Ji Eun who’s a horrible internet writer and Lee Young-Jae, this VERY handsome model. Somehow, Young-Jae gets control of her house and Ji Eun has to be Young-Jae’s maid for a year before she can get her house back. It sounds kind of stupid, but TRUST me. It’s got to be one of the most cutest and funniest drama ever. A must see.
Boys Before Flowers [link]
It’s actually fairly very new. It just finished about 2 or 3 months ago. But don’t let that get you down. I’ve got to say, it’s REALLY addicting. I’d been following up on the episodes week by week and got so frustrated because I was so curious to know what would happen on the next episode. But basically, it’s about a girl named Jan Di whose family owns a small laundry business next to this enormously prestigious private school called Shin Hwa College. Through very funny circumstances, she gets allowed in and meets F4 [Flower Four], a group of 4 rich guys. Oh, and I must say that they’re all so very hot. <3 Very funny and romantic. PLEASE SEE!

Like all the dramas, Goong is Oh-so-very addicting. And yes, the people there are HOT. <3 A MUST SEE!
