I recently just watched Knight and Day and it is a very good action and adventure movie and was given a rating between 6 and 7 by the professional reviewers and I definitely agree with their ratings by far and my fating would be a 7.5/10, what makes the movie such a hit would have to be having two great actors in Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz being the two main actors of the movie.
The movie is about a secret agent Roy miller (Tom Cruise) who got named as a rogue agent as he got a battery and never handed it in and he kept the person who created it Simon Feck and was hiding him in safe places around the world, and June Havens (Cameron Diaz) a young woman who was going back to Boston for her sister’s wedding.
Roy and June meet at an airport and Roy is using her luggage to get his battery through the airport by knocking into her twice and the two end up on the same plane but the plane is filled with men trying to kill Roy and claim the battery, June goes to the toilet and the fighting sequence starts and Roy must land the plane and from that point on Roy is protecting June and getting her back home but always with people chasing them and trying to kill Roy and good car chase scenes through the whole movie as well.
The movie ends with Roy being shot saving Simon Feck and one of his old secret agent partners takes the battery and it explodes and destroys the plane he, Roy ends up in hospital and CIA Director George is there when he wakes up and Roy asks for June and Director George tells him about the choices he has made and as she leaves a nurse comes in and drugs Roy. The nurse is June and she takes him away as a dead person and as he wakes up from it June and him drive off together.
Knight and Day will be one of Tom Cruise’s and Cameron Diaz’s top movies they have made and personally I would love to see both of them in a movie together and I think that someone in the ddirecting and producing business should think about even doing Knight and Day 2 with these two actors, I hope those that watch this movie will enjoy all the gun shooting and fighting action and the great car chase movies in the movie.
