Janet Jackson to Produce Truth

Never know what to expect from members of the Jackson family.

Janet Jackson, the sister of Michael Jackson has made an impressive career for over four decades.

Ms. Jackson has managed to not stay in the shadow of her brother since she was a little girl starring with Michael on the Jackson Five TV show.  She has receivedawards as a singer, has been labeled one of the best dancers in videos during the past decade and been the star in leading movie roles.  One such movie role in ‘Poetic Justice’ with Tupac Shakur left her with rave reviews as an actor.  She has also starred in Tyler Perry movies and alongside Eddie Murphy in a series of movies.

Janet Jackson most recently became an ambassador for a weight loss program.  it is the same program that Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson have found success.  Now Ms. Jackson is on her way to becoming an executive producer of a new documentary.

‘Truth’ is a documentary being produced by Janet Jackson that covers the lives of transgender people living around the world and their challenges as a transgender emotionally; perhaps physically, financially and socially as well.  Jackson has been quoted as saying, “We want to stop the hate and find understanding.”  She believes that her documentary will help citizens worldwide be more accepting of transgenders. The goal of the documentary Janet Jackson is producing is to stop discrimination in the transgender community primarily.  Production is to star this summer. She is expected to also be part of the on-camera interviewing according to Brainchild Films which is in part responsible for the production of the film.
